Baltimore County Nursing Homes With The Most Coronavirus Cases
Here's a breakdown of the nursing homes in Baltimore County that have reported coronavirus cases and deaths among residents and staff.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — State officials have released specifics on the number of coronavirus cases and deaths at nursing homes and long-term care facilities in Baltimore County and throughout Maryland. Baltimore County has the second highest number of coronavirus cases in these types of facilities in the state, after Montgomery County, which has more than 2,200.
Nursing home and long-term care facilities in Maryland have been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic. While their residents and staff account for 19.2 percent of coronavirus cases in Maryland as of Wednesday, they make up 56.8 percent of deaths, the data shows.
Gov. Larry Hogan announced at the end of April that universal testing would be required at nursing homes and long-term care facilities across the state.

"We will complete distribution of universal testing for nursing home residents and staff this month," Hogan said in a May 20 statement.
More than 1,800 residents and staff of nursing homes and assisted living facilities have tested positive for the coronavirus in Baltimore County, according to data released Wednesday, May 27.

At Baltimore County nursing homes, 245 have died from the virus; of those, 242 were residents, and three were staff, newly released data shows.
Five nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities in Baltimore County have more than 100 cases of the coronavirus as of Wednesday, May 27, according to the Maryland Department of Health:
- Frederick Villa Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Catonsville
- FutureCare Cherrywood, Reisterstown
- FutureCare Old Court, Randallstown
- Genesis Loch Raven, Parkville
- Village at Augsburg — Nursing Home, Lochearn
Data about coronavirus at congregate living facilities is updated weekly on Wednesdays by the Maryland Department of Health.
