Owings Mills Boys Basketball Advances in Playoffs

Owings Mills boys basketball beat Lansdowne Tuesday, and will take on Loch Raven Thursday at 6 p.m.

Owings Mills boys basketball advanced to the quarter finals in the MPSSAA (Maryland Public Secondary School Athletic Association) playoffs in the 2A North Division.

The Eagles, playing at home beat Lansdowne, beat Lansdowne 60-31 Tuesday. They will take on Loch Raven on Thursday, Feb. 28, at 6 p.m.

The Eagles girls basketball team plays Chesapeake at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27.

Both of New Town High School’s teams are also in the playoffs.

New Town’s girls, playing in the 1A North division, will take on Friendship Academy of Science and Technology at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at home.

New Town’s boys team got a buy to the second round, and will take on the winner of Friendship Academy of Engineering and Technology vs. Havre de Grace, which takes to place Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m. New Town’s game will take place on Thursday, Feb. 28.
