Owings Mills, New Town Basketball Advances in Playoffs
Owings Mills and New Town High's boys basketball are in the semifinals and New Town's girls are in the regional championship.

Three of the four basketball teams at New Town and Owings Mills high schools are still in the MPSSAA playoffs.
New Town’s girls basketball team will complete the regional finals for 1A North against Western School of Technology and Environmental Science Friday, March 1, at 6 p.m. at New Town. They beat Friendship Academy of Science at Technology 60-7 in the previous round.
Owings Mills’ boys take Edmonson-Westside High School on the 2A North on Tuesday, March 5, at 5 p.m. The team beat Loch Raven 66-58 in the previous round.

New Town’s boys take on Western School of Technology and Environmental Science in the 1A North semifinal on Tuesday, March 5. The team beat Havre de Grace 69-50 in the previous round.
Owings Mills’ girls basketball team was defeated in semifinals by Chesapeake 48-44.
