Children will soon hit the sidewalks in search of candy in Owings Mills and Reisterstown. Here are things to know beforehand.
Baltimore County doesn't have set trick-or-treating hours, but most kids hit the streets between 5 and 9 p.m., so drivers should be extra vigilant then.

The Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company offered a few suggestions for Halloween night, which is expected to be rainy.
Drivers should slow down, be extra cautious and be on the lookout for trick-or-treaters, the fire company advised.
