Owings Mills Resident Charged in Attempted Murder of Roommate

An Owings Mills man is facing attempted murder after police say he slashed his roommate several times with a knife.
Michael Jerome Rosenberg, 44, of the 400 block of Academy Avenue in Owings Mills, was charged Sunday with attempted murder and first-degree assault.
The charges stem from a violent incident in which Rosenberg's roommate was slashed multiple times with a 12-inch knife during an argument, according to a police report. The knife was recovered at the scene.

The victim lost “a good bit of blood,” but was able to speak to police, said Lt. Stephen Doarnberger, assistant commander at the Baltimore County Police Franklin Precinct. He was taken to Sinai Hospital for treatment and his condition was unknown Monday afternoon.
