Owings Mills, Woodlawn Football To See Ravens At One Home Game
The Owings Mills Eagles and Woodlawn Warriors will each host a Ravens RISE High School Football Showdown once this season.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Owings Mills High School and Woodlawn High School will each host a Ravens RISE High School Football Showdown this season. Both schools won a contest sponsored by The Baltimore Sun and Baltimore Ravens in which the public can vote online for their high school to get Ravens players and media coverage at one of their football games.
There were 80 Maryland high schools competing for the honor at the beginning of the contest in August and after online votes were tallied, The Sun announced that Owings Mills and Woodlawn were among the winners, along with Francis Scott Key, Glen Burnie and Elkton.
As participants in the Ravens RISE High School Football Showdown, Owings Mills and Woodlawn will see Ravens presence at one of their games this season. A current or past Raven will deliver a pep talk before the game at each high school and do the coin toss before that specific game. Poe, Ravens cheerleaders and the Marching Ravens will be in attendance.

The specific games designated as Ravens RISE High School Football Showdown events will be announced this week, according to The Baltimore Sun.
