Police Identify Reisterstown Homicide Victim

Police have identified the woman found dead in a Reisterstown leasing office Friday morning as 29-year-old Melinda Schaefer.

Schaefer was the property manager at the Townes at Harvest View in Reisterstown, according to The Baltimore Sun. She was stabbed multiple times and found by a custodial worker, The Sun said. 

Baltimore County police received the call at 10:56 a.m. on Friday, and were dispatched to the unit block of Augusta Ridge Road, where detectives found Schaefer in the first floor leasing office, according to a police report.

There have been no arrests, according to The Sun.
