Police Warning: Two More Cars Left to Warm Up, Stolen

Police remind local residents to not leave their cars unattended with the heat on, as two more cars were stolen in Owings Mills Thursday morning.

With three car thefts this week, police are reminding local residents to not leave their cars unattended to warm up.

Two cars were stolen Thursday morning as the owners left them unattended to heat up. At 6:30 a.m., a 2001 Mercury Sable was stolen from the unit block of Phlox Circle. It was recovered on the unit block of Windbluff Court, where the next car, a 2009 Nissan Rogue, was stolen at 7 a.m. That car was recovered later on Wildbranch Court in Owings Mills, according to Lt. Stephen Doarnberger, assistant commander of the Baltimore County Police’s Franklin Precinct.

At 6:08 a.m. Tuesday morning, a car was stolen from the 900 block of Joshua Tree Court in Owings Mills. The car was recovered that afternoon.
