Summer training camp often can be a tough and painful task for football players. But the Baltimore Ravens gave their players—and coaches—a well-received treat on Monday afternoon.

Late in practice, a pair of ice cream trucks rolled up to the back end of one of the practice fields at their complex in Owings Mills, delighting a number of players who quickly came by when their drills were done.

The trucks sat near the goal post on one of the fields right next to the team's building. They drew a lot of popularity very quickly when music from those trucks began playing and announced their appearance just before 5 p.m., the time when the day's practice ended.

Those interested could behave like a kid for a few minutes, grabbing a variety of flavors of ice cream, something that probably felt very good at the end of a long practice on a hot July afternoon.
