Ray Rice Says He Was 'Person I Hated The Most' While Being A Star
Former Baltimore Ravens star Ray Rice said he didn't like the man he used to be, and his wife Janay said that was not who he really was.

Former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and his wife, Janay, opened up about their relationship, football and domestic violence in a segment that aired on CBS This Morning on Tuesday, Dec. 18. Host Gayle King interviewed them at their home in Connecticut, where they moved after he was released from the Baltimore Ravens in 2014.
Rice's football career ended after videos showed him knocking out Janay, who was his fiancee at the time, and dragging her from an elevator at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Feb. 15, 2014.
"The pressure I was under of being a star, that was the person I hated the most," Ray Rice said.

"I was there. I lived it. I don't need to relive it," she said. "...that wasn't him in that moment," said Janay Rice, who has known Ray since she was 15 years old, when asked why she stayed in the relationship. "I knew that we had work to do, and I was willing to move forward and put in the work."
