Reisterstown Community Tree Lighting December 1

Main Street will be a little brighter Sunday after the community tree lighting at Reisterstown United Methodist Church. 

On Sunday, Dec. 1, the Reisterstown United Methodist Church will host holiday fun that includes food, a petting zoo and a Christmas tree lighting. 

The fun kicks off at 4:30 p.m. with a potluck dinner in the Fellowship Hall, followed by a live Nativity and petting zoo in front of the church at 5:30. 

At 5:45 the Christmas Tree will be lit.  At 6:05 Chrismons (Christian ornaments) will be made in the Fellowship Hall.  At 6:45, the tree in the sanctuary will be decorated. 

The evening continues at 7:30 p.m. when Santa will make an appearance and cookies and punch will be served.  

This event is open to the public.
