Reisterstown Crab House Named Among Top 10 in Baltimore Metro

Reter’s Crab House & Grille is one of the top spots around to find crabs, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.

The newspaper recently compiled a list of the area’s best restaurants for crabs, and the Reisterstown eatery was ranked eighth.

Rankings were determined based on Yelp scores and the newspaper’s research, according to the Baltimore Business Journal, which placed Mr. Bill’s Terrace Inn Crabhouse of Essex at the top of its list.

Reter’s is known for its special atmosphere and juicy crabs. On Yelp, one reviewer wrote: “If you can’t make it to the beach...go to Reter’s! Its like the beach came to you.”

In addition to its crab offerings—crabcake, crab Imperial, cream of crab, crab pizza, to name a few—Reter’s is known for its french fries, burgers and funnel cakes, reminiscent of a trip to the boardwalk at the beach.

The restaurant also has a seafood market where people can walk in and purchase crabs by the bushel or half bushel, cream of crab soup by the pint, shrimp, lobster, crab legs, clams and oysters.
