Reisterstown Man Charged with Intent to Distribute Heroin, Cocaine
A Reisterstown resident and Baltimore resident were charged with various drug offenses Tuesday.

Anne Arundel County police arrested two men on drug charges Tuesday after police said they threw drugs out of their window during an attempted traffic stop in Brooklyn Park.
Michael Leroy Harvin, 30, of the 600 block of Glynlee Court in Reisterstown, and Damien Romon Kane, 22, of the 900 block of Patapsco Avenue in Baltimore, were charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of heroin, cocaine and marijuana.
Detectives were conducting a "street-level drug investigation" in the 4000 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park at about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday when they attempted to stop a 2005 Ford Explorer, according to a police press release.

As the detectives tried to stop the truck, police said the occupants threw drugs out of the window and continued driving. Police eventually stopped them in the area of Potee Street and Washburn Avenue in Baltimore, police said.
The detectives confiscated 14 capsules equivalent to 4 grams of suspected heroin, four bags equivalent to .91 grams of suspected crack cocaine, two bags equivalent to .93 grams of suspected marijuana and $307 in cash, police said. Police also seized the Explorer.
