REISTERSTOWN, MD — Snowfall in Reisterstown has totaled about 0.5 inch as of Monday night, according to preliminary data.

Baltimore County emergency management personnel reported the measurement at 9 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

The county is under a winter weather advisory until 10 a.m. Tuesday.

During the advisory period, up to 1 inch of snow, 0.25 inch sleet and 0.1 inch ice could accumulate, according to the National Weather Service.

Because of the wintry mix, officials say road conditions may be slippery. Drivers and pedestrians should be extra careful outside.
