Reisterstown's Unaging Miracle Baby Dies at Age 20

Brooke Greenberg, of Reisterstown, baffled doctors when she stopped physically developing more than 15 years ago, when she was a toddler.  Greenberg died on Oct. 24 at the age of 20.

Brooke suffered from significant medical problems, especially in the first five years of her life. She was on a feeding tube most of her life and was not able to walk or talk.

According to her family, Brooke was loved and adored by many, and she returned the love.

Brooke, who looked and acted like a toddler her entire life, attended the Ridge Ruxton School in Towson. 

Doctors were not only baffled by Brooke, they were also intrigued by the science behind her development. Scientists studied Brooke's DNA in hopes of learning more about human aging and extending youth, according to the New York Daily News.

The daughter of Howard and Melanie Greenberg, Brooke had three sisters -- Emily, Caitlin, and Carly.

Brooke was buried at Baltimore Hebrew Cemetery.
