Rose Theresa Sottile, 79
A memorial service will be held July 2 for Rose Theresa Sottile.

Rose Theresa Sottile died June 27. She was 79.
She was known for her determined spirit, which she displayed in her roles from Maryland State Police to family caregiver to the Maryland Disability Determination Services, where she reportedly retired and returned to work as a contract employee.
"Rose was, without question, one of God’s special gifts to those of us who had her in our lives and called her our friend," one of her secretarial partners said, according to her online obituary.

She is survived by her sister, Lucille Fasano; three sons and their spouses: Anthony Sottile, John and Sharon Sottile, Russell and Cathy Sottile; nine grandchildren: Christopher, Ashley, Gabriella, Cassandra, Luca, Nino, Brittany, Matt and Joe; and one great-grandchild, Tristan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rosario (Russ) Sottile, according to her obituary.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, July 1, at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, near Franklin Boulevard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 2, at Sacred Heart Church in Glyndon.
Interment will be held later privately.
