Councilman Does 'Squirrel Dance' To Pump Up Ravens Fans
The councilman whose district includes the Baltimore Ravens practice facility did his best impression of Ravens Hall of Famer Ray Lewis.

TOWSON, MD — Councilman Julian Jones brought his "Ray" game to the Ravens rally Friday afternoon in Baltimore County. When he heard about the event leading up to Sunday's AFC wild card game, Jones said his instinct was: "We need Ray Lewis there."
Lewis, a force to be reckoned with on the Baltimore Ravens defense from 1996 to 2012, was known for his leadership role on the team and ability to pump up the crowd.
Donning a Ravens sweatshirt, Jones approached the podium to address those gathered in Towson for the Purple Friday rally hosted by Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski.

"I tried to reach out to Ray, but he couldn't make it," said Jones, whose district includes Reisterstown, where Lewis used to live, and Owings Mills, where the Ravens practice facility is located. "It could be because I don't have his phone number or any way to contact him."
As the crowd laughed, Jones said in all seriousness: "I really wanted him to be here."

Making the most of a rally sans Ray, the councilman said he thought to himself: "If Ray was here, what would Ray do?"
Backing up from the podium, Jones came to this conclusion and said: "Here's Ray's message."
