Storyville at Woodlawn to Close for 2 Days

The popular children's attraction in Woodlawn is going to get freshened up during closure.

WOODLAWN, MD — Storyville will be closed Monday and Tuesday in Woodlawn, according to Baltimore County Public Library officials. The popular children's attraction will reopen on Wednesday.

The closure allows for "refreshing and restoring" Storyville, officials said. Storyville promotes literacy for those up to 5 years old through themed learning areas such as the baby garden or grocery store; each section is equipped with books and activities.

The Storyville at Woodlawn is one of two in Baltimore County; the other is at the Rosedale branch. Both will be going through the updating process this week. The Storyville at Woodlawn will be closed Monday, Sept. 19, and Tuesday, Sept. 20. It will reopen on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
