Two Men Injured in a Shooting at Tom's Sports Tavern
Two men were taken to a local hospital with gunshot wounds after a heated argument broke out at a bar on Wednesday evening.
OWING MILLS, MD- A gunman opened fire at a bar Wednesday evening injuring two men, police said.
According to officials, Baltimore County Police responded to a call for a shooting just after 8 p.m. at Tom’s Sports Tavern on 9307 Liberty Rd.
Evidence from the investigation suggests that the two individuals who resulted injured became involved in an argument with the suspect, according to police.

The dispute — which occurred in the vestibule of the carry-out side of the business — led to the suspect pulling out a gun and shooting both men before fleeing the scene.
The suspect remains at large.

Detectives believe this was a targeted crime and there is no further danger to the general public.
The two men who resulted harmed in the altercation are expected to survive.
