Here's a rundown of what's open and what's closed in Owings Mills for Thanksgiving 2019:

  • Baltimore County Public Library (libraries will be open Friday)
  • Baltimore County Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29.
  • Community College of Baltimore County: No classes are scheduled Wednesday through Friday. Classes will resume Monday, Dec. 2.
  • Baltimore County Health Department (open Friday
  • Baltimore County Circuit and District Courts (also closed Friday)
  • Senior Centers (close at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday; open Friday)
  • CountyRide (service ends at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday; open Friday)
  • Post offices
  • Banks
  • Federal and state government offices

Parking is free in Baltimore County on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

There will be no trash collection in Baltimore County on Thanksgiving Day. Consult your schedule to find out if an alternate collection is provided.
