Why Did Bill Bateman’s Close Last Week?
The Baltimore County Department of Health shut down the Bill Bateman's in Reisterstown for one day last week.

Bill Bateman’s in Reisterstown was shut down for one day last week after a health inspector found mouse droppings in one of its refrigerators.
On Wednesday, March 20, an inspector from the Baltimore County Department of Health inspected Bateman’s in response to a food-borne illness complaint received that day. The inspector found evidence of mouse droppings in a walk-in refrigerator and closed the restaurant, according to department of health spokeswoman Monique Lyle.
Bateman’s remedied the issue and was allowed to reopen on Thursday, March 21, after a re-inspection, Lyle said.
