Windows Smashed, Purses Stolen Outside Franklin Middle

The first of four thefts took place in November.

Four cars have been broken into at Franklin Middle School outside of school hours since November.

In each incident, car windows were broken and purses were stolen, according to Lt. Stephen Doarnberger, assistant commander of the Baltimore County Police’s Franklin Precinct.

The most recent incident was reported between 5 and 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13. The other incidents were Saturday, Dec. 15, between 3 and 4 p.m., Monday, Dec. 10, between 7:45 and 8 p.m., and Wednesday, Nov. 21, between 7:30 and 8 p.m.

Police advise those working and participating in activities at the school to not leave valuables out in plain view in their vehicles.
