Aberdeen Motorcyclist Killed In Glen Arm Crash

Michael William Ruehling, 41, was killed after being ejected from his motorcycle.

Police have identified the victim of a deadly Monday morning crash.

Michael William Ruehling, 41, of the unit block of Poplar Grove Avenue in Aberdeen, was killed after being ejected from his motorcycle shortly after 2 a.m. April 29, according to an email from Baltimore County Police Department spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher.

Police say that Ruehling was driving a 1994 Honda motorcycle southbound on Glen Arm Road about a quarter-mile form Manor Road when he drove off the west side of the roadway and struck a small post and then a mailbox.

The motorcycle continued to travel on the grassy roadside and Ruehling struck a road sign then a concrete footer for a power pole, Rogers-Feher wrote. Ruehling was ejected from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic around 2:21 a.m.
