Artist Spotlight: Sweet O's Shoes

Every once in a while you see a handcrafted item that is just too cool not to share.

That's the case with these shoes, hand-painted by Kim at Parkville-based Stone Thicket Inspired Yarns.

The shoes were among the items posted by Stone Thicket to the Parkville Main Street Facebook page and are available through Stone Thicket's Etsy store.

"I am a local artist here in Parkville and I do everything from crocheting to making jewelry," Stone Thicket posted. "I am currently working from an Etsy page but would love to find a shop in town that would be interested in selling my items."

Etsy is a site where people can operate a shop and sell their handcrafts online.

Earlier this year, the Parkville Main Street committee operated a pop-up arts shop in Parkville in conjunction with a concert series.
