Derrick was an amazing person with a big heart. He was a very hard worker whose job was in sales. He always ensured the decisions he made were in the best interest of his family. He was an amazing father, husband, brother, son, nephew and friend. Anyone who knew Derrick would agree, he was a very straightforward person and never had a problem telling you what was on his mind. He loved his sports — especially his Ravens! Derrick will be terribly missed by so many people who loved him so.

A service will be held for Derrick from 11 a.m. until noon on Saturday, June 23, at Parkville Baptist Church, 3309 Taylor Ave, Parkville, MD 21234. Immediately following the service, there will be a memorial potluck celebration of Derrick’s life at Double Rock Park, 8211 Glenn Road, Baltimore, MD 21234.
