Harford Park Participating in Project Stream Clean

Volunteers will meet at the Harford Park Community Association Hall.

The Harford Park Community Association will take part in Project Clean Stream, an effort headed by the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay.

"We would love to have as many volunteers as possible to help with our neighborhood stream," community association representatives wrote in the group's newsletter.

The clean-up is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon April 6, according to the newsletter. Volunteers will meet at the community hall, at 2522 Linwood Road, to register and pick up supples, which include gloves, rakes and trash backs.

The hall will open at 8:30 a.m., and the event will happen rain or shine.

Light refreshments will be available before and after the event, according to the newsletter.
