Man Robbed While Trying To Buy Drugs

Baker Lane, 4100 block. At 10:15 p.m. Aug. 13. A silver Tony Hawk BMX bike was stolen from a car port.

Wendell Avenue, 8700 block. At 2:15 a.m. Aug. 11. A television and a laptop computer were stolen from a home. Burglars got inside by breaking a window in order to unlock a door.

Green Oak Court, 3700 block. Between July 16 and 3:13 p.m. Aug. 10. A burglar broke into a vacant home, but due to the state of the home it was impossible to determine whether anything was stolen.

Old Harford Road, 8600 block. Between 3:30 and 6 p.m. Aug. 8. A television was stolen from an unsecured rear patio.

Magledt Road, 10000 block. At 11:43 a.m. Aug. 8. A man was seen running out of the crawl space outside a home. The man did not get inside the home.

Townhill Road, 2100 block. At 1:15 p.m. Aug. 8. A man was attempting to buy Percocet from another man in a wheelchair when a third man approached with a semi-automatic handgun and took $1,500 from his pocket then fled in a car driven by a woman.

Walther Boulevard, 8500 block. At 1:25 a.m. Aug. 5. A woman and a teenage girl were victims of a robbery attempt. Two men got out of a vehicle, displayed a black pocket knife and told the women to “kick out what you have.” The women had nothing to give the men, who jumped into a white Toyota Corolla and drove away toward Route 43. 

9600 Magledt Road between 1 p.m. Aug. 5 and 7:12 p.m. Aug. 7.  Knives, firearms and gold were stolen from a home. Burglars got inside by breaking the glass on a rear basement door.
