Ronald Lawrence Copenhaver

Ronald (Ron) Lawrence Copenhaver was born in Elkton, MD on the 19th of February 1957 and died in Parkville, MD on the 12th of September 2019. He was 62 at the time of his passing. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Susan Copenhaver. He had 3 children; sons Ronald and Daniel, and daughter Kristin. He had 7 Grandchildren; Caleb, Gabriel, Eli, Mara, Ivy, Silas, and Mason, and an 8th on the way. He was proceeded in death by his parents James E. Sr and Betty J. Copenhaver and brother James Jr. He is survived by four siblings; his brother Steven, and sisters Darlene, Grayce, and Darby. Mother and Father in law Elwood and Emily Ulmer, brothers and sisters in law Emily, Vickie, Elwood and Frank. He was survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as extended family John and Cindy Horseman, Grace Taylor, Craig Hassed, Alicia Copenhaver, and Salena Forrester. Ron was a loving husband, father and Pop Pop.
On the weekends he loved to cook on the grill and feed everyone one of his favorite recipes while enjoying a bottle of his grilling sauce. There was no better way to spend some time than to play a board game with his family. On a Fall day he could be found at any local orchard picking fresh fruits with his grandkids. He loved to tell stories of his athletic greatness. He would never miss a Ravens game and was a lifelong fan of the Orioles.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 21, 2019 from 5-7:30 PM in the Powers Lounge at the Maryland Masonic Home, 300 International Cir, Hunt Valley, MD 21030.
