Oak Crest Residents Inducted into MD Senior Citizens Hall of Fame

They are among 50 citizens from across the state recognized for outstanding community service and volunteerism

Parkville, Maryland--Oak Crest, an Erickson Living retirement community, is proud to announce that three of its residents are among 50 members of the Class of 2018 into the Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame!

Congratulations to Anne Brownson, Madelyn Daniels and Margaret Sellmayer! They were nominated and selected based on their incredible volunteerism in the greater community and at Oak Crest. The induction to the Hall of Fame occurred during a luncheon ceremony held at Michael’s Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie on October 25.

The Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame, Inc. is a private, all-volunteer organization that has been functioning since 1987. Its sole purpose is to annually recognize individual senior Maryland citizens who have performed outstanding service in their communities.

Each inductee received a membership certificate, MSCHF lapel pin and a copy of the Blue Book that includes the name, picture and a brief summary of volunteer service for each of the 2018 honorees.
