Parkville Valedictorian Named Lacrosse Academic All American

A Parkville High School student was recently recognized for athletic and academic achievement as a lacrosse player.

David Kratochvil, who played long stick middle for Parkville High, was named Academic All-America by U.S. Lacrosse, according to Parkville High School spokeswoman Lexa Newman-Fisher.

Kratochvil will also be the school's class of 2013 valedictorian when Parkville graduates on June 2, Newman-Fisher wrote in an email. He plans to attend Boston University in the fall, she wrote.
