7 Easter Egg Events Near Perry Hall

These Easter egg hunts around Perry Hall offer things like visits with the Easter bunny, a bounce house, cotton candy machine and crafts.

PERRY HALL, MD — Easter is relatively late this year, falling on Sunday, April 21. Last year it was on April 11. The year before that, it came on April 16.

Before the holiday, there are a handful of Easter egg hunts in and around Perry Hall.

Free Easter Egg Hunt at noon on Sunday, April 14, at the Grand Lodge of Maryland, 302 International Circle, Cockeysville, MD 21030. There will be an Easter egg hunt, games, prizes, food, Easter bunny visits and the chance to tour the Maryland Masonic Museum.

Jerusalem Mill Easter Egg Roll at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, at Jerusalem Mill Village, 2813 Jerusalem Mill Road, Kingsville, MD 21087. The Easter bunny will be at this event, where kids can push an egg down the hill with a wooden spoon.

The Joppatowne Community Church Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 14, at Joppatowne Christian Church at 725 Trimble Road, Joppa, MD 21085. This event is free. Different age groups have their own hunts, beginning around 12:20 p.m. and concluding with an adult scavenger hunt around 2 p.m. All are welcome to participate. There will be free food and games with prizes. Registration is at noon. Times are approximate: ages 0-5 at 12:20 p.m; grades K-5 at 12:40 p.m.; grades 6-8 at 1:10 p.m.; and grades 9-12 at 1:30 p.m.

Pine Grove Middle School Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 19, at Pine Grove Middle School, 9200 Old Harford Road, Parkville. Hunts are divided by age group at this event, sponsored by the Parkville Recreation Council. Hundreds of eggs will be stuffed with goodies and candy. Call the weather line at 410-372-8169 after 8 a.m. with concerns due to inclement weather.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt at Perry Hall UMC, at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, at Perry Hall United Methodist Church, 9515 Belair Road, Nottingham, MD 21236. Children are $7; kids under 2 are free; and adults 14 and up are $6. People must reserve their spot in advance online or call the church office at 410-256-6479.

Eggstravaganza at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, at Life Source Church, 8855 Belair Road, Nottingham, MD 21236. The event is free for all. It will feature crafts for kids ages 2 to 8 as well as face painting, bounce house, games, cotton candy machine and egg hunt starting at 11 a.m.

Atonement Lutheran Church Community Easter Festival on from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 20, at 9121 Old Harford Road, Parkville, MD 21234. Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at this festival, where free Easter-themed crafts will be available. There will be a separate area for toddlers and young children.
