Accident Shuts Down Segment of Belair Road Through Perry Hall
One driver had to be extricated, while the other suffered minor injuries.
UPDATE (3:15 p.m.)—Two large vehicles were involved in a car crash that knocked one driver into semi-consciousness, forcing a rescue, according to a Baltimore County police spokeswoman.
A black Chevrolet Trailblazer and a blue Kia van collided near the intersection of Belair Road and Slater Avenue a little before 1 p.m. Wednesday, spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher said.Â
New information coming from officers at the scene indicated that the Trailblazer crossed over the double yellow lines heading northbound. The Trailblazer and the Kia Sedona's driver-side panels "met," Rogers-Feher said.

It was "not completely compeletely head-on, but it did a lot of damage," she added.
Police shut down a segment of the road between Slater Avenue and Silver Spring Road for accident cleanup and rescue.

Firefighters were called to the scene for an unknown fluid leak.
The driver of the Trailblazer had to be extricated from his SUV. He was semi-conscious when police found him. The other drivers' condition is not known at this time.
It is unknown if either driver was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
