Act Of Kindness At Perry Hall Dollar Tree Gives Shopper Hope

The store at Perry Hall shopping center is open again on Ebenezer Road, and a woman reported a fellow shopper brightened her outlook.

PERRY HALL, MD — After a months-long closure, the Dollar Tree in Perry Hall has reopened. And that is not the only good news.

A customer at the store in the Perry Hall Square shopping center shared a fellow shopper performed an act of kindness there this week that helped boost her faith in humanity.

Marlise Stallings said she was at the store on Monday, Oct. 19. When she arrived at the checkout, she discovered she left her credit card at home and did not have any cash on her.

"I told the cashier I would run home and be right back," Stalling said. Then, a woman behind her in line asked the cashier how much she had rung up.

"This nice person paid my bill," Stallings wrote on Perry Hall Patch. "Acts of kindness like this restore my belief in the goodness and kindness and love that people have. Whoever this Lady was I thank you again and again."
