AMC White Marsh Showing 'Purple Rain' to Honor Prince
The White Marsh cinema is one of AMC 87 theaters around the country showing 'Purple Rain.'

Fans of Prince will be able to get a big-screen glimpse at the late music icon this week, when his seminal film "Purple Rain" is screened at the AMC White Marsh.
Officials with AMC Theatres said the company began working with Warner Bros. shortly after Prince's death on Thursday to bring the 1984 film—which has been airing as a tribute on some cable stations—back to the silver screen.
After Prince's sudden death Thursday at 57, tributes have popped up across the globe, including all-night dance raves and radio and TV stations playing his hits on a constant loop.
