Ashawntie Brown, 19, Former Gators Running Back
A teen who was a member of the Perry Hall High School class of 2016 has died, and a service is planned in his memory.
PERRY HALL, MD — A former Perry Hall Gators running back has passed away, and a candlelight vigil is planned at the high school in his memory. Ashawntie T. Brown died on Jan. 8. He was 19.
There will be a viewing from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, at Joseph H. Brown Jr. Funeral Home, 2140 N. Fulton Ave Baltimore, MD 21217.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, at Joseph H. Brown Funeral Home.

There will be a candlelight service at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, at Perry Hall High School's stadium, 4601 Ebenezer Road, Nottingham, MD 21236.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise donations for the family to go toward the funeral arrangements.
