Every year, many students get the late-summer jitters about the upcoming school year.
Not to fear: your family can start preparing for the best school year yet, whether your student is moving to a new school or just moving up a grade.
Here is a list of back-to-school night events and orientations at schools in the Perry Hall area (let us know in the comments if a school is missing from the list):
Gunpowder Elementary School
- Take a Peek at Your Seat, Thursday, Aug. 22 2:30-4:30 p.m.
- Back-to-School Night, Tuesday, Sep. 10 6-8 p.m.
Joppa View Elementary School
- Take a Peek at Your Seat, Thursday, Aug. 22 6-6:30 p.m.
- Ice Cream Social, Thursday, Aug. 22 6:30-8 p.m.
- Grades 1-2 Back-to-School Night, Tuesday, Sept. 3 7-9 p.m.
- Grades 3-5 Back-to-School Night, Wednesday, Sept. 4 7-9 p.m.
Kingsville Elementary School

Perry Hall Elementary School
