Baltimore County Offers Free Metered Parking During Thanksgiving Weekend
The meters on the free spots will be covered with red "Seasons Greetings" bags.

If you’re out shopping on Thanksgiving or through the long holiday weekend in Baltimore County you can park for free.

The county will be offering up to two hours free parking at 1,735-metered spaces from Thanksgiving Day through Dec. 1. Shoppers will be able to tell if a spot is free because the meters will be covered with red “Seasons Greetings” bags.
"This time of the year it is especially important to support the owners of Baltimore County's local shops and restaurants," County Executive Kevin Kamenetz said in a news release. "We're doing our part with a parking meter holiday Thanksgiving weekend, so shoppers can help keep the neighborhood economy going strong."
The free meter parking will also be available between Dec. 20 and Dec. 25.
