28-year-old Takeya Oakley has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to a stabbing that occurred on Sunday. Oakley remains at the Baltimore County Detention Center held on no bond pending a bail review hearing.

A man was killed last night following a stabbing in Halethorpe.
Just before 4 a.m., officers responded to the 2900 block of Lakebrook Cir., 21227Â for a reported stabbing. When officers arrived to the scene, they found 33-year-old Daniel Hutchins suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. Medics transported Hutchins to The Johns Hopkins Hospital where he later died.
Through investigation, officers arrested a suspect whose information will be released pending a bail review hearing. Baltimore County Homicide detectives are still investigating the circumstances surrounding this murder.
