Baltimore County Police: Police Investigate Double Shooting In Essex Precinct

Detectives continue to investigate a double shooting that occurred Friday, just before 5 a.m. When detectives responded to the unit block of Akin Circle in Middle River, they found two men who were suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to an area hospital.

While this case remains under investigation, detectives believe this was a targeted attack.

Anyone who may have seen or heard something in the area on Friday morning is asked to contact police by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers.

Reward Offered

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland, an organization that is separate from the Baltimore County Police Department and Baltimore County Government, offers rewards of up to $2,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges in connection with felony offenses.
