Baltimore County Teacher Charged With Child Sex Trafficking

Michael Brandon Osikomaiya is charged with acting as a pimp for a 16-year-old girl and advertising sex with her on the Internet.

The Baltimore County Police Department has charged a Baltimore man in connection with human trafficking.

Michael Brandon Osikomaiya, 23) of the 3600 block of Lyndal Avenue in zip code 21213, has been charged with human trafficking, prostitution, and other related charges. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $200,000 bail.

In the early afternoon of May 19, the Baltimore County Police Department learned that there was a 16-year-old girl advertising prostitution on the Internet. An undercover officer contacted the girl and set up a meeting at a Baltimore County motel. When officers arrived at the motel, they located the girl.

Further investigation indicated that Osikomaiya was her pimp. He was taken into custody as he returned to the motel.

Detectives learned that Osikomaiya was employed as a teacher in Baltimore City. The victim was not one of his students.

The 16-year-old girl in this case is considered a victim and police do not have any plans to charge her at this time.

The case remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Vice Unit, working together with the Maryland Child Exploitation Task Force.
