Baltimore County Under Severe Thunderstorm Warning

Damaging winds greater than 60 mph are possible with this storm, according to the National Weather Service.

There's a severe thunderstorm warning in effect for Baltimore County until 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 7.

The storm is capable of producing damaging winds exceeding 60 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

  • Prince George's County

As of approximately 10:45 a.m., weather officials said the storm was over Crofton and moving northeast at 30 mph.

Weather officials said these areas may be impacted by the storm: Baltimore, Bowie, Annapolis, Crofton, Morgan State University, Severn, Union Square, Elkridge, Guilford, Woodring, Turners Station, Fort Smallwood State Park, Howard Park, Armistead Gardens, Bodkin Point, Severn River, Baltimore Inner Harbor, Sillery Bay, Back River and Camden Yards.
