From Sgt. Angela Mickle, of BCPD:
This year Precinct Nine is doing something a little different. We have decided to adopt Walter Reed Medical Center for the Holidays.
Our goal is to give thanks to our injured troops and support them and their families during this Holiday season. The recovery time that the Soldiers spend in the hospital can be very lengthy. It is often a great burden to them and their families.
We want to bring some cheer this Christmas but we need your help! Please read the attached Donation List. All donations can be dropped off at the Precinct starting November 7th 2013.
We will be collecting until December 16th 2013 and then we will be making the trip to deliver the items to the Troops!!!! Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
