​Bruce T. Biggs, 75

A former soccer coach in the Overlea Fullerton area has passed away.

Bruce T. Biggs born July 23, 1944, in Blackpool, England, passed away Jan. 15.

He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Sharon M. Biggs (née DeMinnis); sister Linda M. Jones of Morton-in-Marsh, England; daughter, Regina Bulleri, and her husband, Marc, and son, David B. Biggs; grandsons Harrison L. Fletcher and Gavin T. Fletcher; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Donald M. Biggs of Baltimore; mother Lillian S. Biggs (née Brooks) from Moreton-in-Marsh, England; and sister Louise M. Cline.

Bruce was a soccer coach for many years with the Overlea Fullerton Recreation Center. He twice ran the Baltimore Marathon. His favorite hobbies were fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandsons and with the family in Ocean City.

Bruce was a member of the North Point Yacht Club and also the Maryland Saltwater Sport Fishing Association.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 8420 Belair Rd., Fullerton, MD 21236. Internment will be private at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or to Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS).
