BurgerFi on The Avenue will be the first for the franchise in Baltimore County. Others are in Silver Spring and Bethesda.

The company uses facial recognition software to remember patrons and their favorite orders.

"We hope that our latest technology innovations, including the newest mobile technology, will make it easier for guests on the go to order their BurgerFi favorites with just a touch of a button," franchisee Diego Sanchez said in a statement.
