Christmas And New Year's 2020: White Marsh Mall, The Avenue Hours

PERRY HALL, MD — Christmas and New Year's Day fall on Fridays this year. While the White Marsh Mall will be closed for Christmas, it will be open on Friday, Jan. 1.

Because of the coronavirus, some stores and restaurants are offering curbside pickup and spot-holding services.

For visits with Santa at the White Marsh Mall or ice skating and movie theater viewing within The Avenue at White Marsh, people are advised to sign up in advance.

Santa is taking reservations Wednesday, up until 3:45 p.m., at the mall. Face coverings are required for people age 2 and up. Due to the coronavirus, children will not sit on Santa's lap but may talk with him from a distance about their holiday wishes.

People can also arrange for a virtual visit with Santa through Jingle Ring, an online service that costs at least $24.95 for a time slot.

• Wednesday, Dec. 23: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Thursday, Dec. 24: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Christmas Eve
• Friday, Dec. 25: Closed on Christmas
• Saturday, Dec. 26: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Sunday, Dec. 27: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Monday, Dec. 28: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Tuesday, Dec. 29: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Wednesday, Dec. 30: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Thursday, Dec. 31: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve
• Friday, Jan. 1: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on New Year's Day
• Saturday, Jan. 2: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Sunday, Jan. 3: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The White Marsh Mall is at 8200 Perry Hall Boulevard.

These restaurants offer curbside pickup: Buffalo Wild Wings, Chick-fil-A, The Greene Turtle, Olive Garden, P.F. Chang's and Red Robin.

These stores provide a spot-holder service so people do not have to wait in line: Footaction, Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, PacSun and ReGen.

The AMC Theatres is open on Christmas, and so is the ice skating rink on The Avenue.
