Crime Blotter: Botched Robberies, 2 Stores Robbed at Gunpoint

A rundown of recent crime in the greater Perry Hall area.

Here are some of the most recent crimes near Perry Hall reported by Baltimore County Police:

Sept. 14 Armed Robbery

At 11: 40 p.m., a man entered Safeway, on the 9600 block of Belair Road, displayed a gun and demanded money. A cashier handed over money, and the man fled.

Sept. 14 Attempted Armed Robbery

At 10:15 p.m., a man entered the Fork BP gas station, on the 12600 block of Harford Road, displayed a gun and attempted to enter the locked cashier booth. The man failed to get into the booth and eventually fled on foot.

Sept. 13 Robbery

At 9:50 p.m., four males between 15 and 18 years of age approached a male victim on the 9600 block of Baron Place, and stole the victim's pizza.

Sept. 12 Attempted Robbery

At 3:05 p.m., two men approached a male victim walking in the area of Avondale Road and Second Avenue, one grabbing the man while the other attempted to take his necklace. The suspects failed to get any of the man's property and fled on foot.
