Election Day In Perry Hall: Where, When To Vote

Here's where to go and what to know before casting your ballot on Election Day in Perry Hall.

PERRY HALL, MD — Voters in Perry Hall have options on Election Day, whether they are casting their ballots in person, through a ballot drop box or by mail.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.

The best time to vote in person on Election Day is between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to the Maryland Board of Elections.

These voting centers will be open in Perry Hall on Tuesday:

  • Honeygo Elementary School, 4816 E. Joppa Road.
  • Honeygo Run Community Center, 9033 Honeygo Blvd.
  • Perry Hall High School, 4601 Ebenezer Road.

Voters will be required to stand 6 feet apart, and the number of people inside voting centers will be capped, which may result in lines and wait times, according to election officials.

Baltimore County residents who are eligible to vote but not yet registered can register in person on Election Day.

Other Ways To Vote: Drop Box, Mail-In Ballot

Those who want to vote without visiting a polling place can put their ballots in a Baltimore County ballot drop box until 8 p.m. on Nov. 3.

Through Election Day, people can get a ballot in person at their local board of elections — in this case at the Baltimore County Board of Elections, 11112 Gilroy Road, Suite 104, in Hunt Valley — where they will be asked to fill out a form with their name, address and other information. An ID is not required.

Ballots can be put in a drop box or mailed. If mailed, they must be postmarked on or before Nov. 3. Mailed ballots must be received by the local board of elections by 10 a.m. on Nov. 13.

People will be asked to vote on candidates for President of the United States, a congressperson, two statewide ballot questions and nine Baltimore County ballot issues.

These proposals are referendums that need voters' approval to become law. People must vote for or against the proposal.

Question 1 (Constitutional Amendment):

"The proposed amendment authorizes the General Assembly, in enacting a balanced budget bill for fiscal year 2024 and each fiscal year thereafter, to increase, diminish, or add items, provided that the General Assembly may not exceed the total proposed budget as submitted by the Governor." (Amending Article II Section 17 and Article III Sections 14 and 52 of the Maryland Constitution)

Question 2 (Commercial Gaming Expansion Referendum):

"Do you approve the expansion of commercial gaming in the State of Maryland to authorize sports and events betting for the primary purpose of raising revenue for education?" (Ch. 492 of the 2020 Legislative Session)
