"First year we maybe had 24, I think. A lot of the guys were graduates and a lot of guys from the 70s," John "Pancake" Siemsen, a former coach and player, said.

"I think it's important for the younger guys to see the older guys and to see the camaraderie that exists," he continued. "The school is a special place. I love coming back. My parents still live in the neighborhood."

Phil Rossetti, president of the Perry Hall Lacrosse Alumni Association, said the class representation ranged from 1976 to 2013, with nine guys coming from the graduating 2013 squad.

"It was fun. Good to see the old guys ... and some of the guys we coached when they were kids," Rob Prenger, the oldest returning player from the Class of '76, said.

The 50 players were split by class years—odds and evens.

Both teams were square 5-5 at the half, but tough pressure throughout the third and fourth periods saw the evens break away to end the game 12-8.
