Gators Start Playoff Run Against Howard on Friday

The No. 2 seed Perry Hall High School varsity football team hosts No. 3 seed Howard High School in the first round of the Maryland state playoffs.

The Perry Hall High School football team picked up their ninth consecutive win last week, defeating Dundalk High School (6-4) by a score of 38-15 to finish the season 9-1.

Despite a nearly flawless season since dropping their first game of the season to North Harford, the Gators fell short of getting the No. 1 seed for the playoffs, as Paint Branch (9-1) finished just ahead with bonus points in the 4A North region.

So the Gators host No. 3 seed Howard High School (8-2) at 7 p.m. on Friday, and hope to move onto the 4A North regional finals against the winner of Paint Branch and Sherwood (7-3).
