Gators Win 2nd Consecutive State Basketball Title

COLLEGE PARK, MD — The boys on the Perry Hall basketball team played their way to a second consecutive state championship win on Saturday night. The Gators defended their class 4A title in a nail-biter in College Park.

The Perry Hall High School Gators beat the Bladensburg Mustangs, 56-52, on Saturday night in the state championship coordinated by the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSAA).

The Gators also won the 4A championship in 2017; this is the second state title for the team in Perry Hall High School history.
